GeraPix: QR Code PIX — Privacy Policy

Introduction
GeraPix: QR Code PIX ("the App") is developed and operated by Area43 Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
The App lets you generate PIX QR codes from any PIX key type, customize them, and keep a local history of saved codes — all offline, with no account required.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Data You Enter
All PIX key values, transfer amounts, beneficiary names, and customization settings you type into the App are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to Area43 Labs or any server.
Advertising Data (AdMob)
The App displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data about your device and app usage to serve and measure ads. This data is collected by Google, not by Area43 Labs, and is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Data AdMob may collect includes:
- Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
- Device type, model, and OS version
- App usage signals for ad relevance and measurement
- IP address (for general location inference)
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
How We Use Your Information
Area43 Labs does not collect or receive any personal data from you directly. All QR code data you enter is processed locally on your device.
Google AdMob uses collected advertising data to serve ads and measure their performance. Area43 Labs receives only aggregated, non-identifiable ad revenue reports.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
All data you enter (PIX keys, history, customizations) is stored locally on your device using standard Android storage. Area43 Labs has no access to this data.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is deleted by the Android system.

The App uses the following third-party service, which may collect data subject to its own privacy policy:

Your Rights
Because Area43 Labs does not collect or store your personal data, most data rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) apply to data held by Google AdMob rather than by us. You can exercise those rights directly with Google.

GDPR (EU/EEA users): If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
CCPA (California users): If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information.
LGPD (Brazilian users): If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados. Because Area43 Labs does not collect personal data directly, AdMob's data practices are the primary subject of these rights. Contact Google for AdMob-related data requests.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@area43labs.com and we will take appropriate action promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
